Marlicia had ensured that we all had a comfortable stay at her self catering home. It is the second time we have stayed there and this speaks volumes about the high standard of care Marlicia puts into making everyone feel at home. It is spacious, well equipped with comfortable beds and seating in the lounge and dining area. The pool in the secluded courtyard, was an absolute blessing. It was well used as it was very hot on both visits. We loved Marlicia's home made rusks and other treats to make our stays special. I would highly recommend a stay at Petit & Grande Plaisir.
This was our second stay and it was wonderful. The accommodation is spacious and well equipped. It’s a short walk from the centre of Fransckoek with all its lovely shops and restaurants. The owners are attentive and helpful and would recommend a stay here if you are visiting the area.
Firstly, we’re amazed at how big the house was. It accommodated our family of 6 perfectly. Each bedroom had an en-suite with super comfy beds. I particularly loved the patchwork quilts on the beds! The pool was a lovely area to lounge in. It’s a bit of a walk into town but very easy to drive and park on one of the many side streets. We visited the village market and the Huguenot museum - both great! Marlicia and Louis were charming hosts and gave many local recommendations, including Drs and taxis. Marlicia was super-responsive to any questions. Thank you for our fabulous stay.
