I have just given your details to a friend who is thinking of coming out next year so I went into your snappy new website!
I am afraid my handwriting must be very bad so please will you not be offended if I correct some of the errors in the Selkirk Grace which is a Scottish (not Irish one!) on your blog.
Some hae meat and canna eat
Some canna eat that want it
But we hae meat and we can eat,
Sae let the Lord be thank’it.
Some (people) have meat and cannot eat
some (people) cannot eat that want to
but we have meat and we can eat
So let the Lord be thanked
Hope all is well with you. The news here is not great. Pauline is having some real problems and has just had a further scan and we are seeing the specialist on Wednesday so will know better then what will happen. I suspect she will need an operation soon but we will see.
In the meantime we try to get on with life but are we glad that we made South Africa when we did!
All the best to you and Louis,
Charles and Pauline
